Giving the word no philosophical meaning. When it comes down to personal opinion the word is more of an emotion. The meaning in life can only be brought from your own personal opinion. Everyone's life means something different. Since human potential is limitless so is their meanings. Meaning is unpalpable, untangible, sometimes unreasonable or unbelievable. With cognitive thought comes want. And from want comes need. We want to feel more important and we need to have meaning.
An animals meaning to live is survival. They eat, breed and that's about it. Human's survival game never comes close to natures. The only thing that will truly survive is that which learned to outrun humans and their power plays. In essence we are meaningless beings with which we are just a run on the ladder of evolution. We created gods in fear of this meaninglessness. To give ourselves the hope of worth. And so the issue of god is He is made from fear to give people meaning and hope.
